
Why
The website had a confusing user flow. During usability testing, I noticed that users were dropping off because they couldn’t find what they were looking for. Additionally, the logo was too generic and difficult to use in different contexts. Social media also needed improvement to become more attractive and informative.
What
Website visits have increased by 17% since the redesign, and drop-offs have almost completely disappeared, resulting in fewer help requests. Instagram followers have also increased by 94.
How
To redesign the website, I studied the main tasks users wanted to complete and simplified how they could find information. I also analyzed data from Wix analytics to identify specific issues. Furthermore, I conducted user research by talking to people on the street and volunteers at the animal shelter.
